Hi! My love for children and mindfulness led me to create this children's board book of affirmations about the chakra system. Chakras are spinning disks of energy in the body that can be activated and opened through meditation and mindfulness. My Shiny Chakras is also a fun guide to the body, colors and learning for the kiddos. As a former Montessori teacher, child care provider and yoga enthusiast, this book simply made sense! The concept came to me in a dream years ago and the process to bring it fruition has been fun and rewarding. Namaste!

My Shiny Chakras would not have been possible without the amazing community of friends and artists I have in San Diego. Over the last 13 years I have manifested an incredible crew of creative and supportive individuals. Sunshine, yoga and fun are the name of the game here! An immense thank you to the illustrator Nick Young for his patience and professionalism along this journey. All of the children featured in My Shiny Chakras are personal friends of mine whose parents took great photos for the illustrator to work from.
